Information For Authors
Scope: Authors are invited to make a submission and the scope of this journal is as follows:
- Remote sensing technologies and their applications in earth observation.
- Geospatial data analysis and visualization techniques.
- Integration of GIS and remote sensing for problem-solving in various domains.
- Advances in satellite imagery processing and interpretation.
- Emerging geospatial technologies such as UAVs, LiDAR, and AI-based analysis.
- Applications of geospatial science in sustainable development and global change.
Permission and Consent: Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.
Article Types: JEOGA accepts the following article types:
- Research Article: Include research objectives, study area and data, repeatable methodologies, results, discussion, and conclusions.
- Best Practice: Include challenges and lessons learned as well as deliverables to readers.
- Review Article

- Letters to the Editor

An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise, and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper.
